The Cross Country Killer The Glen Rogers Story eBook Claude Rogers Jr Joyce Spizer Reviews
Interesting. However thought it wld hv bn abt more of his killings NOt jsT a few.
This is probably the best book out there that focuses exclusively on Glen Rogers. This author appeared in the documentary "Serpents Rising" which is where I found out about the book. I was hoping for a little more after seeing that documentary but it is still best in breed.
If you want more on how Glen Rogers connects with the OJ Simpson case and his history of acting as a confidential informant for various government agencies then I would highly recommend the following When Prosecutors Attack! OJ Simpson, Roderick Scott, George Zimmerman - Baseless Government Attacks and the Media That Lets It Happen that really does a great job of showing all the connections with charts, pictures and diagrams that make it all very clear.
This one was particularly interesting because Glen was born and raised in my hometown. Full of surprises....you just never know what someone went thru growing up and how it can affect their future.
I purchase this book after viewing the documentary which provided more insight into the kind of man he became and what made him turn into a murder. The structure of the book was disappointing as well. It did not hold my interest, so I did complete the book.
Just plain terrible. It was not well researched given the author had full access and wrote it with the killer's oldest brother. ROAD DOG is the best book about Glen Rogers. Save your money and buy that book.
This was one of the most insightful books on serial killers in my opinion. As a psychologist who studies psychopathy, Rogers' story demonstrates the confluence of biology and genetics coupled with abuse and neglect and the unfortunate mishandling of a troubled youth, that led to a serial killer. The insight by Claude and inside view of family members and dynamics was priceless. I'm grateful to have read it.
VERY INTERESTING. It did jump around a little time-wise, but didn't really take away from the story. His medical condition, porphyria, was a story in itself!
I am extremely intrigued that, perhaps, he was involved in the Ron Goldman-Nicole Brown murders. There has always been forensic speculation that Simpson and someone else were at the scene. Both Goldman and Brown had wounds similar to Rogers' other victims.
Very one sided, difficult to follow in many areas and way too many grammatical, punctuation and word usage errors to be taken seriously.
