Interesting plot.Very, very, poorly edited. So badly edited, in fact, that I started jotting down errors.
A character doesn't "wreck havoc;" he "wreaks havoc."
A character doesn't make a "hallow resolution;" he makes a "hollow resolution."
And an articulate character would not think that his "conscious was clear," but rather that his "conscience was clear."
If you have an original and well-developed story, you owe it to yourself to pay a professional editor to clean up your work -- especially if a sequel is on the horizon.

Agent of Influence A Thriller eBook Russell Hamilton Reviews
The beginning of this book is somewhat slow and confusing. Don't quit reading! All those disjointed scenarios start coming together in one suspenseful plot. As I read on, I couldn't stop reading. The premise seemed too eerily possible in today's world, a terrifying prospect.
Warning--this is not a novel that just stops and leaves the reader frustrated but there are some unfinished details. This often irritates me, assuming the author just hopes the next title will be an easy sell. Well, this time it worked. I'm anticipating more action in book two, which I ordered before writing this review.
I had a hard time getting a handle on all the characters and almost deleted it but I kept reading until it finally dawned on me what was going on! I have wondered in the past if something like this type of situation might happen in real life. This plan almost worked except for several very determined individuals who were unwilling to cease and desist! I am sure the next book will be just as exciting! Exciting read! Very thought provoking
I was captivated with the first words. This is truly a political thriller and CIA action adventure. Even though this is a book of fiction, in this day and age of political chaos, I don't think the idea of the U.S. government being overtaken by foreign interests is as unbelievable as it was a few short years ago. Superbly crafted!
I saw someone say that this was poorly edited and I have to agree. Typos galore (I make them, but if the book is to be published, I would hope someone would catch those!) but other than making me gnash my teeth, the book kept me engaged all the way though!
Although I guessed long before it was revealed who everyone was, how to catch up was the question. That caught me by surprise, and I love surprises in books. I was a bit upset there were so many "good guys" who died, but -- isn't that the way the world REALLY works?
I was delighted to see there's a sequel. I very rarely read any parts of upcoming books, but I loved this one enough that I did read the one in this book this time and I can't wait. In fact, I've made a note to go looking for it in "late 2014" whatever that means.
Great excitement, terrific plot (and one you don't see too often), and I'll be watching this author in the future.
I liked this book but didn't love it. I found some of the plot turns to be a bit of a stretch, but I understand the plot overall wouldn't have worked without them. There is an amendment to the US Constitution mentioned in the book that was passed in the 90's. I can't fathom how 3/4 of the US states (38) could actually agree upon anything, let alone a change to the supreme law of the land. In my version of this book, there were typographical errors, but nothing so overt that I couldn't figure out what was meant.
Many of the editing errors have been pointed out above..... but this one takes the cake
"the pirouettes of Cairo's mosques" I think the author should know that mosques have minarets, not pirouettes!
A mistake such as that would earn one of my students a failing grade.
The back story sections are way too wordy. There are too many editing errors. And why, oh why, is the date of the terrorist attacks stated as 10/01/00? Why change that significant date? Just not compelling enough to finish.
Interesting plot.
